I had one of those moments this morning. Addison was sleeping next to me in bed, and Kennedy woke up and came into our room, and crawled into bed next to dh to watch tv. A moment later, my alarm went off (I have it set to the country station) and I heard "Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today". I turned it off, rolled over and looked at dh, and he didn't have to say anything, I just knew that he felt it too- Lainey was right there with us, snuggling with her sisters and her mom and dad this morning.

Angie, ((HUGS)) what an amazing experience! I hope that it brought you some peace. I have a story to share as well ~ the night of Quinn's funeral I had fallen asleep upstairs on the couch. I had one of those dreams where you are screaming, but you're not; I was in a complete panic. Next thing I know, I was overwhelmed with a peaceful feeling and I woke up to feeling a small hand in mine! I remember trying to grab it and hold on to it..but, of course, I couldn't To this day, I am 100% sure that it was Quinn comforting me..not only from the dream, but through losing her. She really is an angel! HUGS, Cass

I think that our babies and others that we lose give us many signs that they are near us, we just have to be receptive to them. Lainey lets me know she's near me in many many ways!
Cass- that is a very very sweet way for Quinn to let you know that she's nearby.

Angie (((( Hugs)))) That is so neat that you had that happen. I am sure Lainey was there missing you all. Its weird having those times happen......its pretty amazing. Tyler is 6 mos old now and he sometimes does things like.......hwne we are in the living room, I have a curio cabinet that is filled with Willow Tree Angels and also Nathan's ashes are in an angel urn on the glass shelf inside. Whenever we are in there....Tyler just stares at it. I just feel that Tyler & I feel Nathan's presence when we talk about him.

Angie, I truly believe that we have moments like that to remind us that they are always there watching over us, weither we know it or not. Sometimes we need a little extra encouragement... Thanks for sharing your precious moment with us.

Angie,
(((sigh))) ... so touching. It seems our kids just know when we can use that extra little pick-me-up to know they're right here with us!
