I wanted to update those of you who have been following Bryan's soccer team. Bryans Team lost today... . They got scored on in the last ten minutes twice and couldn't come back. We so thought we were headed for another win. The team is devastated. It was heartbreaking seeing them...15 teenage boys crying and hanging their heads. Something is bothering me today also...last game I asked Michael to give Bryan and his team courage to win. I could almost feel Michael I think when I asked him. I really felt like Michael helped that day. Today I wanted to again ask Michael to give the team courage, but I couldn't "feel"him like I had the other time. I tried a few different times before the game to "connect" with Michael...I think one time I even looked up to the sky and asked Michael where he was...I don't know if any of this makes sense...just bothering me...... I'm sorry to hear Bryan's team lost .......it sounds like they still played a Very Good game tho. I hope the Coach took them out for pizza {or something} after the game! Making it to the State Finals is a huge accomplishment & win or lose.....they deserve a celebration for being such a Good Team judiann

((((((((((PAM & BRYAN))))))))))
Sometimes too big an emphasis is put on winning. We always want to win but there is honor inlosing also and valuable lessons learned. It is a HUGE deal making it to the state finals and the team should be very proud of themselves. They played well and did their best. That is what is important. That and playing as a team, working together is a very important lesson. I am sure Michael was watching the game and is also proud of Bryan and the wonderful young man that he is becoming. You have wonderful kids Pam and I know how proud you are of them and how much you love them. I think our kids are always there even if we can't feel them all the time.
Praying that you will find some comfort.
Much love,

So sorry Pam, as they have worked do hard and have had high hopes, with good reason. However they have accomplished a lot, even though they didn't go on to win the finals.
I can hear (read) your disappointment about not feeling Michael and not being able to ask him for help for the team. Pam, I want to share this very gently, and stress that it is my understanding. According to my beliefs, only God could help them from heaven. As far as I understand, when someone goes to heaven, they do not become a "God", who can influence things here on earth. Does God give us experiences of our lost loved ones - "coincidences, signs, feelings etc? I do believe that He does, according to his wisdom. Many of us have had such experiences - though they are not at our "beck and call".
May He who is sovereign and all loving comfort you and all of us.
Love and blessings
Joan

Pam, sorry to hear that Bryan's team did not win, but they are still winners. They did great making it to states, that is certainly something to be proud of.
David began cross country in 9th grade. He is not a good runner. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. His shoulders are huge because he works out. He just is does not have the build of a runner. He continued to run though because he says he has a good time. He enjoys the guys on the team and no one cares that he is not a top runner, they have fun. He also throws shot-put and discus. He is the schools best shot thrower (by far not fantastic) but he has a good time and that is all that matters.
Bryan and his team should be proud of what they accomplished.
