There has been so much talk about how much we still grieve and miss our children, but others just don't understand!! Way back when someone wrote a great poem (I think it was Linda) About this. it was so good!!! I wrote it down somewhere and would like to see it posted again. If it wasn't Linda and noone has it I can find it and post it again.

I have about 100 poems on grief under the Share Section if you go to the ild site. Those are still there, all are under Teen/Adult in Share. If you can remember anything from it I can look for it. I think my first poem was in Sept. or Oct. and was called "Pain".
Let me know if I can help further. Writing free verse poetry helped me. I was able to get feelings out and organize my thoughts.
If it was mine, I'm glad you liked it.
Take care.

Linda, you posted this on the day my son died (December 7, 2002). It is meaningful and beautiful.
A Time For Remembering LindaC
A time for remembering, Sharing our sorrow with others. A feeling of closeness with strangers. Light a candle for those we love.
We feel each others pain. We share the stages of grief. We can truly empathize, For this is something we understand.
None of us want to be here. Our lives were cozy and secure before. Now nothing ever feels right. We drown in a sea of sadness.
Each of us has our own story. Each loss is different yet is the same. Parents facing the most difficult thing in life, Dealing with the death of a child.
Lighting a candle seems a small thing. For us it is a time of honoring our child's life. It is healing knowing we are not alone. We will light a candle in remembrance with others.

I know thats a good one, and i have a copy of it in my online journal.
