Yea, I don't know how to pm, don't know how she did that! But yes I told her she had to be logged in because she replied on a couple of our threads. I told her to make sure she was logged in and then click on reply to reply to a thread already there and to make a new message click on new message.
SHe said she knew little about these things, I know what she means, I know little too! I don't know what else to do.

Hopefully Anita will be able to post easily soon. This board isn't as user-friendly as some other boards I post on (I post on a doll board and infrequently on the firefox board), but this is a great board. Anita, have you tried the "quick reply" at the bottom of each page? That might be simpler than using the "reply" icon which is one of three icons at the top and bottom of each thread page. (I think the only difference in your post is that the smilies aren't available in the "quick reply." In order to send a PM, you need to click on the icon below your member name which looks like several envelopes. To quote someone, you need to click on the "quote" icon which is at the right-hand top of a person's post and that will automatically take you to the "reply" window. It's true that she would need to be logged in in order to send a PM. One of the things I miss is receiving an email notification that you have received a PM. Here, you just need to be sure to look at the top of the page where it will say "you have 1 message, 0 are new" or something like that. Good luck everyone. I think I might go to read the FQ's. [edited to change my "smilie"]

Thank you everyone. I have logged in I think that might have been my first problem because after signing up the sight brought me right to the (I believe they are what you call Threads) which is what I am replying to right now? ? I shared with some friends about finding your website, they don't seem to fully understand why I need to talk about Matt all of the time but I just do. I do also go to Compassionate Friends. And I am not sure if you all know but on December 11th where ever you are doing @ 7:00 PM please light a candle for all of our children. From what I understand the candle is lit worldwide at individual time zones and therefore there is a candle lit for 24 hours somewhere in the world. I don't know if you have a Compassionate Friends group in your area but the candle lighting service will also be held at the individual chapters. Again thank all of you for your support. I will continue to come to the message board and hopefully will continue to here strenght. Missing Matt with All my HEART Anita

Anita, I'm just glad your here now! You are right, people do not understand why we want to talk about our children. They think we need to forget (I guess) and get on with life. (Which of course will never happen.) If they haven't lost a child they will never understand. In fact I have found that people avoid us like a plaque because we are sad and depress them.!! But you won't find that here, we love to talk about our children, share our hurts, everything. ((Hugs))

((((((((((((((((((((Anita)))))))))))))))))))))))), We understand the missing and of the need to talk about your Matt all the time. WE HAVE to keep thier memories alive!!!! Thanks for the reminder about the Candle lighting ceremony. I almost forgot about that. I don't go to TCF meetings but do partake in some of the activites. Our chapter has an Angel of Hope statue that Michael's brick was placed at this summer. Keeping you in my thoughts. would love to hear all and everything you have to say about Matt. Love Pam
