So, in my last post/new thread before the SG crash, I had asked for ideas for something. I received a surprise in the mail. Adam's Spanish professor with whom he had a very close mother/son type relationship sent it. Adam was her favored and favorite student and he was going with her and 3 others to spend the summer in Spain. He was a Spanish major. Anyhow, she just published a new textbook and dedicated it in memory of Adam. I was astounded and thrilled. I wrote her a heartfelt note, but feel that I want to do something special for her. I thought that it would be nice if I could send her something that she could keep that would remind her of Adam.
I would really appreciate suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ilise, welcome back. How thoughtful of Adam's teacher to dedicate her book to him. You must be so proud, he surely made an impression on her Maybe a framed engraved photo of Adam would be nice? I always appreciate anything personalized. Corinne

Ilise,
Welcome back. What a wonderful tribute to Adam. You must be so proud. I think a framed picture of Adam is a wonderful idea or maybe there is something else personal of Adams that you think would mean something to her. I am sure she would be honored. She must have thought so much of him. Hope you find just the right gift.

Ilise,
I know that wonderful warm feeling that courses through your veins when your child is remembered. For me, it has helped so much to know his teachers still think of him. I'm not alone.
I agree with a picture frame. In our mall there is a kiosk that will engrave the products they sell. I bought a frame and had a sentiment engraved (about 16 words I think) for a friend a few years ago. It is not sterling silver, but it still looks like new.

Love the idea of a pic or did he have a paper that he wrote for her class or something along those lines that you kept? That might be something you could have framed as well.
