Got to figure out how to use all this new stuff ......& wouldn't ya know it.....today my computer started shutting itself down for no apparent reason! Don's got some work to do!! Love, judiann

Hello my friends. I have missed you.
I know that this silly, but I felt a sense of dread being listed as a "new member". I had this momentary image of being back in time, in the darkest of darkest days.
Question: I know what karma is, but what is it in regards to this board? Question: Ditto exalting and smiting?
It is nice to be home, where people other than my bride understand all of me.

It's nice to see the boards back up and functioning, and yeah what does karma mean as it relates here?

I was Chris's Mom Terri on the old Silent Grief. I couldn't make it work this time. UGH! I'm glad to be here, too. The next couple of weeks will be hard. Chris's Angel Day is 11/15. It will be 2 years. So Sad!
Here's some info for Hugh I found while searching.
Karma is basically a member rating system based on their actions.
If you feel a member has done something good, you would give them positive karma, if you feel they have done something bad, you give them negative.
This system either adds or subtracts 1 from the users karma count. This is only of course assuming the admin of the forum has enabled karma (in general settings in admin)
The exalt link gives the user positive karma, and the smite gives them negative
You are limited to 1 issue of karma each hour to avoid foul play
Now I've gotta figure how to add my siggie.
Hugs to all! Terri

Ah. It's Ebay feedback, under a less secular name.

I was very glad to find SG up and running when I checked it today. I have truly missed reading the posts and adding my two cents worth.
