Amanda -- you can change the number of posts viewed in your "Profile" section. (at the top of your screen in the shaded area of the "Message board" rectangle -- it's second from the right).
There should be an option there to change the number of posts viewed -- it's a white box under the "Recent Activity" heading. Just change it to however many you want to view. The dates are on the description of the post, so you should be able to tell which ones are from your last visit.

First -- if you log in and go to the individual boards the messages with new posts since your last visit will have a little blue "new" bubble beside them. This is probably the easiest way to find new posts since your last visit. Now....If you want to get a bit more complicated:
I've been looking around and experimenting here and the closest I can come to seeing all new posts made is to do a "SEARCH" (across the top of the screeen below the "Hey, ______, you have x messages.." Third from the left.)
When the search screen comes up, leave the keyword boxes blank, scroll down to the bottom and you will see an area where you can enter information about when the posts you are looking for were made:
In the section:
-- Search in: (leave both "subject" and "message" checked)
-- Posted within the last: (change this to go back to the last time you visited.....this is something you'll have to remember though..)
-- Maximum results: (make this a higher number, I used 100 when I searched...)
-- view results as: (leave it marked "posts" if you want to see the messages NOW, mark it "threads" if you want to have to click on them to see the posts.
This is as close as I could figure out to find the last posts since a visit.....it's just a matter of if you want to do a search or not...)
Happy searching!!!!! ~tess~

What I do is this.... When I've finished reading posts in a section (TTC, PAM, ect) , I click "mark as read" on each of their directory/index of posts boards. That way, when I log on again it will show "new" only by the posts made after I clicked "mark as read". I do that with every section that I like to keep up on....MAM, POTPOURRI, etc. OH...and when you've read all of the posts in a section and you click "mark as read" you will see on the main frame index that the blue circle next to the forum you've finished is gray. It will turn blue when there is a new post. If you have any questions about this, please pm me. I'd more than happy to help.
