Well, this may be a long post, I have alot, ALOT to be thankful for and would just like a few prayers to keep me strong! First off, I know alot of you know the situation a year ago with my husband. Well, he has been out for a few months, and praise the Lord, he found Christ while in jail. He has been going to church regularly, PARTICIPATING <key word...not just attending> and has a full time job, not to mention, he has cut all his old "friends" loose. He is a totally different person, and a changed person. I kept my faith strong, prayed and prayed and put it in the Lords hands. I have had meeting and counseling with my associate pastor and the church has prayed on this....Please do not judge me, but I have let him back home and he is more of a man today than 7 years ago when we first got together. They say a husband is saved through his wife, but good gravey, I didn't know it would have been as hard as it has....He is being a father, spending time with the kids, doing things with them, taking them places and wanting to do "family" things, he never did any of that before. Please just say a prayer that he continues his walk with the Lord and stays strong. Also, back in June I had a routine dental cleaning and due to some sensitivity, they numbed a portion of my mouth, I was just released off of disability Nov. 1, still have to take the dilantin to relax my nerves in my face, but it's no where near the pain and numbness it was for months. I also lost my job because I was out so long.....Well, the Lord is Awesome, Nov. 1
I faxed in my resume to an oil field company here in town and Nov. 2 went on the interview and got the job (doing data entry/billing).......Not only did I get the job, they called 1/2 hour after I left and said they were so impressed with my interview, they are giving me $1.00 more than the rate they were going to pay (which wasn't bad either)......Please pray that I stay healthy and that this is a job I can grow old (er) with and from here on out life will take less bumps and twists. If I haven't learned much the past year, I have learned I will never question God on how much I can handle because just as soon as I ask, he'll dish out more just to show me.....Man how I love my heavenly father, he is always there and moves obstacles everytime (well almost everytime)! Thanks for taking the time to read this.
