Tomorrow would be my dad's 61st birthday.
He passed away unexpectedly at 57.
I always find this time of year so so hard. My birthday is exactly 14 days after his... when I turned 30.. he told his best friend "My baby girl is 30 today" his friend said "how is Darlene handling that".. Dad said "not well, but I'm not sure how to tell her I wont be here to see her turn 31"
He died the following February 17th.
I miss him so much... no matter how old I am or get.. guess I'll always be daddy's girl.. (so glad i was the only girl!).
Bless everyone.
Darlene

Oh, Darlene, I'll be praying for you sweetie. As a fellow "daddy's girl" I can imagine how you're feeling. I will be thinking of you on this difficult day. (((hugs)))

Oh sweetie,
I'm keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers. I am a Daddy's little girl and will always be and don't know how I will deal with it when his time on this earth is over.

I just want to thank you for praying for my family and I and keeping us in your thoughts.
Today has been an ok day. DH and I went maternity clothes shopping.. talked about my Dad.. and for the first time since he died.. I was able to do so w/out crying.
I miss him so much. Always my protector. At times now..especially when I had the m/c last year.. it's been so hard to get through things w/out him here to "make it better"...
Bless you all,
Darlene
