am going to type out the newsletter article I got from my chapter in Roseburg, Oregon from Compassionate friends and my sponsor said to me that if you dont belong and want to remember your child in this fashion please join in. If you dont belong to this organization and have lost please join in for the honor of your child. I hope you will look local chapter up
"The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting is held every year on the second Sunday in December. Candles are lit at 7:00PM, beginning in New Zealand, are the globe -- a 24 hour wave of light in memory of the children who have died or those who have miscarriages or even those who have had still births and so forth".
At this candle lighting vigile normally in chapter they will give you a candle and ornament. I know in my chapter I will going to the Melrose grange and staying the entire 24 hrs in membrance of my daughter Ashley. I will light an extra candle to represent each of you who have lost also as my friends. I will have my cell phone so I will be safe
"This is editors favorit event, It is to honor our children or babys not born.. This event comes early enouph in December that we are not overwhelmed with the rest of the holiday events. This we do in loving memory of and to honor our precious children- it is for them only!!!! Involved loved one and your parents and grandma's and grandpas and sister and brothers"

I am going in honor of my daughter who was still birth and born complete at 16 weeks gestation, Ashley edith Michelle who died on October 16, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. I held her and she was 9 inches long and hefty 1 lb 2 oz

I am sorry that I missed that. I had to work a day shift and also a night shift so I had to go home right at that time and sleep. Thank you for thinking of us.
