My son woud be 21 now. He died at 6 months of SIDS. You never get over it. I wrote a song about my son and thought I would share it with you...............
There you were tiny fingers on a little hand
I watched you smile as you lean on a table and you tried to stand
I watched you growing in the little time we shared
You know in my heart you'll always be there.
Saying goodbye was the hardest thing that I've ever done
We had some time and I'd have to say everyday was fun
I often wonder why it had to end so soon
You know in my heart im thinking of you.
I'll see you soon, as we first stand in heavens light
I'll see you soon never a tear not a fright
Each day will be like the times we use to play
I'll see you soon
I'll see you soon, as I look up to heaven and I see the stars
I know you're there and I'll be there right where you are
And I'll thank God for time that we will share
You know in my heart Im already there
I'll see you soon, as we first stand in heavens light
I'll see you soon, never a tear not a fright
Each day will be like the times we use to play
I'll see you soon

I am not from this board, but your title of your post caught my eye, then your board name.
I am in absolute tears at the beauty of your song to your precious son. My stomach is tight trying to fight the falling warmth on my face. Thank you for sharing your heart in your words with us.
