Janis , I got an email from her late last week and she is doing okay......our sweet Bernie has had a rough go of it. Out of respect for her and because I am not so sure what all she would want me to share I will be brief, but I will say she and her dh are coping with the sudden loss of dh's mother whom Bernie was very, very close to. She and her sweet dh are taking this pretty hard so I do ask that everyone send them lots of positive & loving energy. And by the way, she sent me pic of her and she is as beautiful as she sounds in her posts. Please keep Bernie in your thoughts and prayers and I will let her know that you have asked about her. Janis, you are such a sweetheart. Much Love & Prayers for Peace xxxooo

Oh Janis - it is so kind of you to remember me! Well the whole IVF thing went very well - we had two 5-celled embies put in and two 4-celled embies were good enough to freeze. Also the transfer was a dream - and a doctor who looked like George Clooney (well, if I'm honest - George Clooney's dad!) Sadly the embies didn't take. DH and I were not really surprised - we knew that nothing is guaranteed – but we were still disappointed. Then DH's mum passed away. We heard that she had had a massive heart attack on 15th October (the day before the 2 year anniversary of losing Grace) and she died a week later. So I guess mid October will always be a sad time for us. But I guess that now Gracie will have her grandma to look after her!
It was such a shame that SG went down right when I needed it the most! I have really missed you ladies and I'm so glad that the boards are up and running.
Thanks Darlanne for continuing to be such a supportive friend to me. I so appreciate your thoughtfulness. And thanks Laura for your prayers.
As you can imagine I am feeling pretty battered by life - but I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone's news and I'm glad I have a place to 'be'. Wishing all my friends at SG a heartfelt [[[HUG]]]] Bernie xxxxx

Bernie I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your DH's mum ((((((hugs)))))) how awful for you both.
I am also really sorry that your little embies didn't stick, I don't know how you have coped with all this, you must be really strong.
Please feel free to email me, I hope you are doing okay.
Lots of love
Kirsty xx
