I haven't visited since August but I wanted to thank those who helped me through my darkest days! We lost our baby boy at 17 weeks. I was writing today to say that after exhaustive medical tests, they couldn't find any problems with me physically and they believe the baby died from what is called a "Stricture" of the umbilical cord. That is when the cord does not develop properly, usually at the baby's belly (mine was near the uterine wall) and it like a tightening or a twist in the cord. This is a rare and random occurrance - we hope- thats what we were told and we are ttc again! Good luck to all of you out there- I think of you often and how important you all are to me for giving me strength, courage and support- and most of all love!
