Dear Silent Grief Family,
As I read through so many of your posts each day, I realize that many of you who are new to our SG family of friends have come here by doing an online search and you often don't visit the homepage of this website, www.silentgrief.com . Please be sure to visit there often and take advantage of the articles (which I will begin updating again now that we have server space! , and be sure to sign up for the "Hope for the Day" email message. There is also a "Share With Us" section of the site that continues to lend support to many, many parents grieving the loss of a child.
Also, I've noticed that a large majority of you do not know how the SilentGrief.com message boards began. These message boards are actually a result of people reading the book, Silent Grief, and writing to me asking for a place where they could discuss the book and get some support while traveling through this deep valley of grief.
My son, Joe, is the one who did the programming for the home site. He presented the SG website to me as a "Mother's Day" gift. And, the rest is history.............this place we call "SilentGrief" has continued to grow and lend support to thousands of parents and family members grieving the loss of a child.
For those of you who have not read the book Silent Grief, I would encourage you to do so. I think it is a book that you will never forget because it touches the very heart of every grieving parent. Please visit the main page of the website and click on "the Store" if you want to order a copy of Silent Grief. I remain passionate about the book. I humbly believe that God inspired every word written in the book.
It remains the richest blessing in my life to see Silent Grief being used daily as a place of hope and healing. It is my most sincere prayer that God will bless everyone in a special way that visits this place we call "Silent Grief."
Love and prayers,
Clara
