I am 11 wks 5 days and I went to the OB because of some green discharge. They told me I had a yeast infection. I've never had one in my life so I'm a little grossed out by it, but I hear its common in pregnancy. My problem is the doctor prescribed a vaginal cream (to be inserted) to conquer the infection. The pamphlet and internet said it's not safe during first trimester of pregnancy. The OB said the pill is not safe at all, the cream is what they prescribe to pregnant patients. I only have to use it for 3 days but now I'm concerned that I'm hurting my baby. So I guess I just need to hear that everything is going to be fine and in 6.5 months I will have a perfect little baby and I did no harm to it.

Hope things are ok with you. Try not to fret too much about taking medicines your dr prescribes. Sometimes they have to weigh pros and cons on things like this. I take medicines not considered peachy keen for pregnancy but hey if it has kept my daughter this long it is worth it
