Yesterday, we were doing some spring cleaning. I guess I must have been nesting, because I was cleaning out the bottom of our front closet, which is where we keep most of our shoes. Anyway, all of the sudden my left eye went completely haywire and it was like looking through a kaleidoscope out of one eye. Scared the crap out of me,so I called OB. She sent me to L&D to do some labs and bps. My bps at one point were 88/54, so definitely not high. Labs all came back normal, though I am still anemic (10.5). So, since they could find no reason and by this time I had developed a headache they sent me to ER. Did the work up and turns out it was just a migraine. Funny thing is, it was completely different than normal. No aura, not excruciating, but still light and sound sensitivity. Anyway, they gave me a migraine cocktail (compazine/benadryl) and sent me home. So, all is well with Aubrey and we are still on track for Thursday, but man, I'm ready for this all to be done!

Sounds like a "silent" migraine. I get those some times and let me tell ya, if you're gonna get a migraine that's the way to do it, lol!
It's very scary though so I hope it doesn't happen again for you.

Oh wow, that is really scary. I'm glad you're okay and everything seems to be fine - but nonetheless.
You are doing awesome, and Aubrey's made it to term! I'm so happy. Praying for a smooth delivery.
Love, D
