Brenda I literally have tears in my eyes. Thank you for remembering. Yes. Today is Amanda's 16th birthday. I can't even believe that she now is double her age at the time she died. She was 8 years old (almost 9) ... This sucks.so.bad. It's a rainy miserable day here so it matched my heart which is just so so sad. She was born at 11:58am so she really is officially 16  Oh how I wish I were planning a Sweet 16 party instead of having had to plan a funeral for my sweet daughter. |

I so wish that you were planning Amanda's sweet 16 birthday party also. It is so wrong that your not!!!!
I know there are no words to make it right, because it never will be, but I hope that knowing others care, helps soothe your aching heart.

(((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) I hope today you could sense Amanda's love and her presence. I hope you could visualize her having a huge sweet 16 party. Everyone all dressed up, a cake that's as beautiful as she is. Everyone dances to her favorite kind of music. During one song she stops suddenly and blows kisses down from Heaven, blowing them right your way and she whispers, "Mom, Dad, thank you for taking care of me for almost 9 years. Thank you for holding me tight, for letting me know you love me, for seeing me through all the hard times. I love you so much. When you get here, we'll have a huge party that you plan for me." And, at the end of the party she is handed keys to a car. No one in Heaven is nervous when she takes them and gets behind the wheel. After all, you can't crash a car in Heaven. An angel gets into the front passenger seat and goes over everything with her. He tells her all the things you and her dad would tell her on the very first time she drives, he reminds her of the responsibility. Slowly she takes off, a bit nervous, but soon she is laughing and relaxing.

I am so sorry this day has come and you can't physically celebrate it with your precious Amanda, but I know she is with you anyway. She feels your love and she sends you hers all the time-- every single moment-- on important days and every day in between. Hold tight to knowing that she is with you ALWAYS.
