Dear Silent Grief Family, This is a particularly difficult time for parents who have lost a child, and it's really important for us to seek out all of the support we can to help us face the holidays. Please be sure to visit this site often to gain the support from others. Be sure to take advantage of the articles that have been written for your benefit in the articles section of www.silentgrief.com/articles/, and to read the daily thought and daily Scripture on the homepage of www.silentgrief.com . Keep in mind that sometimes the worst part about anything is the fear leading up to the event. This is true for facing the holidays without your child. Have some kind of a plan -- even if the plan is to stay home and do nothing. You will feel a lot of the fear and anxiety diminish just knowing you have a plan made for the day. My love to each and every one. I wish that we didn't have to be here, but because we are, it is my prayer that each time you visit you will receive a bit of hope and encouragement. Love, Clara
