Oh my. I can't believe he is 7 and a half. He is growing so tall. Which is so cool but also harder as people notice his behavior more now. Like in the grocery store when he goes toward everyone'd cart... Some people are very nice and others downright nasty. Our accomplishments: About 90% potty ...yay. He will poop almost 100% it's the peeing that is harder for him. He is dry every morning...but then during the day has to be reminded. Still using pull-ups. Spelling words like, elephant, octopus, umbrella, rhino, guitar, xylophone. Very cool. He loves to spell. Still no verbal words but he sure gets his point across. We are looking into an i-pad for him. They have great communication apps. AND DRUM ROLL PLEASE He will go to typical school in September in an Autistic Support class with integrated classes. I feel at peace with it FINALLY...not that I won't get a few more gray hairs over it. He loves being in the pool, throwing any ball. Playing baseball...which he did in the miracle league this season and LOVED it (last year he cried most of the time). Sorry this has been so long coming. I've wanted to write for so long but dealing with my own personal health issues and working full time and caring for 2 other kids...YIKES...not time for much else.
