I have lots of strawberries that we picked the other day and I am looking for any good recipes if anyone has any they would be appreciated!! I already made 23 jars of jam and still have tons of berries lol Send some jam my way! Here's a recipe for 2 loaves strawberry bread: 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1Tablespoon cinnamon 4 eggs 1 1/4 cup veggie oil 3 1/2 cups strawberries 1 1/4 cups chopped nuts (optional) Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean Last year I used the strawberry rhubarb pie recipe in my Betty Crocker cookbook and just added strawberries instead of both strawberries and rhubarb. (whatever the amount of cups was for the two together is what I put in of strawberries) Everyone who tried it loved it.

ohhhh strawberries,
chop some ups in a bowl, put some black cracked pepper on top and some sugar, cover with clingfilm and put the bowl in a pot of hot water.. slowly watch the juices come out. when you have lots of juice strain...
ok on a pan put some butter, when melted add more chopped strawberries and toss them, then add some chopped fresh mint. or a small bit of dried mint. while the pan is nice and hot add a dash or ameretto (if possible flambe) or just cook off,
place your hot strawberries in a bowl, cover with some of your juice and serve with vanilla ice cream....
so easy and a great dessert for any dinner party, ,
stick strawberries in a blender and make sauce for over your ice cream, lots of smoothies.

just one thing sorry ladies my recettes are in grams. :-( i hope you are ok with that.. if my recettes seem a bit wired for anyone feel free to kick my arse. i will change them a bit.. i am used to making for large numbers , and its sad to say i never cook at home.. ;-(
enjoy ash xxxx
tiramisu 2 pax
2 ½ egg yolks 65g sugar 2.5g geletine (if buy gelatin in leaf, normally 1 leaf is 3g or 5g, check first, if powder melt with a little warm water,) 150g mascarpone cheese 75g whipped cream ½ orange zest dash marsala or kalua (coffee liqueur ) 8 lady fingers (or some dried sponge cake ) 4 espresso, or 1 cup of very very strong coffee, ( if using instant coffee use 3 spoons in one cup, hot water, no milk)
beat your egg yolks, when they start to expand add in your sugar and beat until double in size, or you can make the figure 8 without it disappearing too quickly . (the sugar cooks your eggs this way, so don't worry) in another bowl soften your mascarpone by mixing it in a bowl with a spoon, add in your zest and little bit if liqueur , you can help soften your mascarpone by adding in a bit of your soft whipped cream. when you mascarpone is soft and not lumpy mix in your egg yolk mix. then fold in the rest of your soft whipped cream, in a pot you have your gelatin desolving in a little warm water, (off the stove) add a tiny bit of your cream mix in to the pot and let it desolve also, do this two or three times until your gelatin has cooled , (this is to stop the gelatin going lumpy when it touches the cold cream mix.) then fold your gelatin into your cream mix. to the side you have your lady fingers or dried sponge soaking in expresso or strong coffee, place some of your sponge in the bottom of a glass, cover it with your cream mix, then some more sponge and top it off with your cream mix again. rest in the fridge for about 2hrs before serving serve with a sprinkle of coco powder on top or some chocolate shavings. hope you enjoy aisling

banoffi cream pie,
gram crackers, butter,
crush crackers and mix with melted butter, (same as cheese cake base) place mix into a removable bottom tin, press down hard to seal and cracks and bake in the over for 10 mins until mix is golden brown.
2 tins of condensed milk 4 chopped bananas whipped cream with a tiny bit of sugar
place the tins directly into a pot covering with water., boil tins for about 3 ½ hrs, topping up the water when needed. after about 4 hrs cool the tins, when possible open the tins and pour the nice caramel over your biscuit base, when cooled more cover caramel with fresh banana, followed by your whipped cream. sprinkle coco powder or chocolate shaving on top. rest in the fridge for about 2 hrs,
serve cold,
the thickness of the base, bananas and cream is totally to your taste.
enjoy

Hi, I love Maltese bread pudding, as you get to use that loaf of bread you let get stale. I'm watching the 2 year old have a bath, so you'll have to google it, but it's a very easy receipe. By the way, he's drinking the bath water out of his shoe, is this a bad thing ?

We have a family recipe for banana bread (we make it in a muffin pan so it comes out as little muffins) which I don't have on me, but this recipe makes DELICIOUS banana-chocolate chip muffins. I was hesitant about the sour cream, but they came out literally amazing, light and fluffy. www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,194,154179-245203,00.html

Lumpia recipe (one of the famous food in Southeast Asia) and also know as Chinese pastries, but instead of using pork or vegetables we prepare fish. The same procedure as the typical one except of using chopped boiled fish.
