Thanks so much for introducing yourselves, Kaytlen and Rhayden. It's always heartbreaking to hear more stories of child loss, and yet we, of all people, know that every day this horrible thing happens. Kaytlen, I think that your pets will help you, too. I know that following the loss of my son, Samuel, my special doggie became my soulmate. She seemed to know just when to snuggle with me extra close -- she even licked my tears dry on many occasions. It's nice to know that you enjoy art, too, and if ever you have completed a piece of art (of any kind) that you wish to share with us, please do. Art is so healing! Rhayden, losing a child to fire is traumatizing, and I'm sure you're in a state of shock yet. That fog that you talk about is really a protective measure -- there's only so much our hearts and minds can take in at once. You're going through a double loss, which makes it even more difficult, so the fog may last for a good while yet. I will definitely look up your page on Facebook to learn more about you and your loss. I hope that you ladies will visit us often and allow us to help you in this journey of loss. My love to each one, Clara Hinton
