Had my 2nd IUI on saturday. Not feeling as crampy as I was with the 1st one. Don't know if that is a good sign.

Praying that with this break you are able to give your body much need rest and relaxation! I did that several times over the years too. It helps to get things in perspective too!
Praying that this summer brings much SUCCESS and happiness for you! Angela

If they did an hcg trigger before the iui that would have caused the positive. Even now it is really too early for a pg test to be positive. ost people won't get a positive until at least 12 days later, and more likely 14. At this point the testing will just drive you crazy. give it another week and then test again. Best of luck to you.

My husband also has low count & motility as well as morphology problems due to long term cancer and radiation. They thought maybe after a year or two of him being cancer free, it might improve, but it hasn't. We're adopting and we're also looking into iui through sperm donation. Unfortuneately, my DH has to have a vasectomy (sp?) b/c I keep having m/c.
Hope will be if your RE knows that when washing the sperm, there are viable sperm there. (no such luck with us).
Yes, this is hard! I just found out a couple of weeks ago that there would never be a chance for me to carry my husband's child. We both are grieving a loss. Give yourself time to heal and keep your options open.
Think about posting on TTC (trying to conceive). The women on here are incredible! They've helped me through my darkest time in my life. I'm so grateful to them and to God.
Praying for you!

Hi there. I am Hope. We got pg by accident in December of '06. We losed that baby. Now here I am preparing for an IUI. I just feel like WTF!!! My David is a trooper, but the pressure is building. Any tips? Any body out there in my shoes? Not that I would wish this on my worst enemy but I am really sick of hearing.... "it will happen" "Stay positive" "God has a plan" "what's meant to be will be" and last but certainly not least, "Don't think about it so much"! I have a great doctor, and a great family. But two years later, the depression hits. And you just need to hear something from some one who gets it. I am a yoga teacher for goodness sake. I actually believe most of those phrases. I tell them to myself! But I am scared. I set my life up to be a mom. When my girlfriends were dreaming of high powered careers, I was dreaming of little fat tummies and sweet little feet. Maybe it is early in the game. But my optimism is dwindling.
BTW... has any body had success with an IUI with no meds? No clomed, no injectables. My doc doesn't seem to think I need them. And any advice on how to calm my sweet husband? He is a bit nervous.

The waiting is the worst part. I had an iui done Sat MAy 4th. AF was due yesterday. Peed on a stick this morning and got BFN. Ovulation was late (according to the bllod work, i surged on day 18) Fertility clinic said at time of iui to come back 2 weeks later for blood test. But does anyone know if the late surge would have extended by cycle? With the surge happening on day 18 is af really late? or does my period due date then become next saturday?
Sending baby dust to you all.
