Noah's Rainbow: A Father's Emotional Journey from the Death of His Son to the Birth of His Daughter by David Fleming (Hardcover -Jan 10, 2006
His son was born still due to a placenta abruption, it is an amazing book, written from a dad's point of view. (David Fleming is a writer for ESPN)
I HIGHLY suggest it.

a great book for children that a lot of people don't know about
the fall of freddie the leaf, this is a beautiful analogy of death how the tree and the leaves are born, the seasons of the leaves and the final season of death and how it nourishes the tree
there is also a book about stillbirth called our baby max (my brother max) or something like that

Thank you for your list. I intend to print it out and give it to others in our support group. I have read a couple of the books on the list and find them to be helpful. We appreciate that you took the time to put this together for us!!!

Would you be able to add my site to the list please. Comfort In Heaven www.comfortinheaven.com it is a Christian site that provides Memorial Birth Certificates for those babies that do not qualify for a birth certificate medically. They are called In Honor of Your Spirit.

I wrote a document containing suggestions on helping bereaved families. It contains information about funeral planning, gift ideas, internet resources, poetry, essays, quotations, bible verses, things to say and not say, etc... www.galdiano.net/documents/HelpingBereavedParents.pdf

I would like to see if I can get my site added to this list aswell This is a social network where all parents who have suffered from a child/infant loss such as miscarriage, still birth, or any cause of death after birth of any age. www.babiesinthesky.ning.com Please check it out. There are over 150 members of mostly mothers who have lost their children and are all benefiting from this site. It is really nice to communicate with others live through chat and personally with each members profile page. I hope to see you there and tell them Danielle sent you.

My name is Shae. I found out my little pumpkin was dead on July 15, 2009 at 29 weeks. He was born July 18,2009. I am trying to put together a memory box for him. The hospital wasnt able to give me much, as he was bald and badly decayed. It makes me so sad that some one I loved so much left so little behind. I am looking for ideas for his box...I have been out of work since delievery, so I cannot afford to buy anything. Any help would be appreciated. thank you, Shae
