Today has certainly been a busy and hectic day but also a really good one. Our granddaughter's 17th birthday is Tuesday but in order for her grandfather to be here and the fact that she will be working we celebrated today. My day started very early and dh and I did go to breakfast and then to the grocery. Came home and got the groceries in and then went on a Wal-Mart run. Came home and made a pot of chili, baked a chocolate cake and made a Broccoli, Ham and Swiss Crescent Braid. Had a nice dinner and now the house is empty and quiet as dd and fiancee' have taken off, and granddaughter and boyfriend have gone to work. A little later dh and i will go look at furniture, plan on getting a couple of recliners to replace our dilapidated couch.
Happy moment yesterday was ushering for our current show and having the gang from my second theatre home come. Also had a glow when a Board member told me how awesome I did reading for Bloody Mary Monday night. No, didn't get that role but at least I am in the show. Now I have the anticipation of a read through Monday night. ;D
Hope everyone else is having some happy moments.

Happy Moments
Well, one would be having my internet working right again. It was a really simple matter but not one I could deal with. DD got it taken care of.
Happy moments last night out partying with theatre friends. A couple from the theatre just moved, are getting married soon and he just got his first job as a lawyer, good reasons to party. I had such a good time!
DH will be here in about an hour and we will go have a combination lunch/dinner then do grocery shopping and he will get his hair cut.
Tomorrow we will get our new chairs. I am so excited.
Next. I know there are other happy moments being had. please jump in.

Happy moments for today.
A pot of chili simmering on the stove An evening free and clear of any outside resposibilities Hubby arriving home tonight even if he is sick with the flu and will be grumpy
And what really made me smile today was a baby born to a couple from my church. He was born at 25 weeks 1 lb. 12.25 oz. , born March 5th. Gus had a PDA ligation today to close a valve so blood isn't pumped into his lungs. He did very well. ;D God is good!
How about some other happy moments? What made you smile today?

:)Hi Linda, glad you are having a good day!
The kind people here at SG made me smile today and gave my heart a lift, providing me with hope for my oldest daughter in having a successful pregnancy.
I know I can always count on SG for honest information and true caring no matter what may be going on in my life.
With much love and gratitude, Gina

Surviving my second week as a full time teacher of 19 nine year olds. (One very angry boy, two very mean boys, one boy who cries all the time, one girl who cries all the time and two English language learners)
Having my friends and my step-dad remember that Ally would have turned 11 on March 1st.
Knowing that I have all of you to pick me up when I am at the bottom.
My secret cupid who was the best of the best!!!!

Just home from our varsity basketball game. We were losing 20 to 4 at the end of the 1st quarter and came back to win in double overtime 56-53. We play again on Tuesday. CJ is on the varsity team, but as a sophomore didn't get much playing time this year, but we are so happy for the seniors.

my field of dirt and weeds (kept waiting for Judiann to come over and pull 'em ;D) has been transformed into a lush green landscape, thanks to the miracle of sod and a bank loan. I've spent an hour just sitting on my deck, soaking in the beauty and order of it all. Most of our land is trees, trees and more trees, so we have a little oasis around our home, finally. Now I'm itching to go planting, and Jada and I are creating a garden in the back. Spring is here in Texas, and I feel like celebrating Zack's life as I bring life to our earth.

2nd Happy Moment.... Michelle comes home tomorrow for a week!!!!! She is on Spring break. It will be nice to have her home, I have missed her this semester. I am going to freshen her room up for her today. It was so nice last night she was at BF's house, it was afer 12 am, he was at work, she was bored. I happened to log on to Im and she was on and we chatted for over an hour. I just feel so lucky to have a wonderful relationship with Michelle. Her senior picture

((((((((PAM)))))))) Michelle is just beautiful! It is nice to be able to have a long conversation and feel so close. Happy moment for last night. Hubby got home and checked the DVD player which I have not been able to use all week. Would you believe it is just fine? We tested it by watching a DVD Done by Three Mo Tenors. I got the DVD Tuesday and hadn't been able to watch it. We smiled all the way through it. Lots of laughter and happiness even with dh having the flu. Happy moment this morn? Waking up and reading that the miracle baby is doing well and will most probably start on his mom's breast milk this weekend, only about a fifth of a tsp. every 6 hours but it is a start for one so small. He is now 2 1/4 lb. Big improvement. On to more happy moments.
