Hello Everyone! We are happy to report the judge dismissed the 300e petition! He did find the 300a petition to be true but we WILL be getting our girls back. We have a hearing set for December 13th. At that time we should know what is expected of us and the timeline of when we will regain custody of Allison and Madison. Our attorneys consider this a huge victory since CPS was pushing for termination of parental rights and adoption of the girls. We will spare you the details but at least there is no longer a question if our girls will come home. We now know they will, just not sure when. The total process can take up to 18 months (we have been in 5 1/2 months so far). We believe our expert witness provided adequate explanation of Madison's injuries (which are now healed). Though the judge did say he sided more with the doctor from Children's Hospital, at least we feel we have some answers as to what happened to Madi. All in all we are SO grateful that our babies are coming home! We thank God for hearing your prayers and ours and continue to ask for His favor and your support.
God Bless, Jen & Family

Prayers are indeed answered. I think the court needs to move quickly on getting the girls home where they belong! Christmas is coming and they should be home to open their presents! thank goodness they are with family though. That is a blessing.
So very good to hear this. I know you are just floating.Much love,
