Alright, I will tell you basically what my story is. I told it at the old site, but I forgot all my info. and couldn't get back in after awhile!
Anyway, my son, Jeremiah Thomas, was born 3-7-99. He was born healthy, and five or six days into his life, he became ill, lethargic and wouldn't really eat. After a series of events, we thought he had bled to death-we were at Riley hosp. in Indianapolis, where we lived. Later, we learned that he had caught Herpes Simplex 1-cold sores, not genital, while he was in the hosp. still. Looking back at some pictures I had, I noticed my then dh had a huge cold sore on his lip then. I'm positive he caught it from my dh. Though my dh told everybody I had it-which I have since been tested for and it's always negative, and I've never had a cold sore. I guess maybe we all look for answers and want to place blame when we lose a child. He was 11 days old when he died.
My marriage became abusive in every way after that. Then I got pregnant with my daughter, Madeline (pronounced Mad uh lynn) Delaney. I was seriously sick while I was preggers with her, and won't even begin to get into that right now! Anyway, she was born 6 weeks early, but after almost two weeks she could come home. Nine months later, I finally left my dh.
That was 11-16-01. Maddie was 9 months old. I took her with me. Then he said I went crazy and got her taken from me, though there was never any proof, and I swear to Pete, I am normal! Better than normal, even! lol You'll see that he had serious issues in a minute!
So we had a huge custody battle over Mad, and then I learned that he had another baby while we were seperated-it was weird how little I knew about anything going on in her life while she was with him. We had pretty much equal visitation then and were getting close to the end of all of it, when there was a car accident. My dh's girlfriend was in the car with him and Mad. His gf died. My daughter broke her leg and dh was seriously hurt. He stayed with his parents and I took Mad home with me to recover some. Then he kept her more and we got back to our old routine. The grandparents of his other daughter, his gf's parents...they wanted visitation time with the baby, and he didn't like that, so one month after his gf died, he sent an email to a friend of his, went upstairs, shot his six month old daughter in the head, came downstairs, shot my 2 1/2 year old daughter in the head and then shot himself in the head, killing all three of them.
No one called me. I found out on the six o'clock news-well, my sister had been watching, and she called and told me. I think that's all I can do for now, sorry everyone!
