Is anyone else going through this? Even though I'm now 18 weeks (lost our previous baby at 13), even though I've heard the heartbeat twice and feel the baby moving, I still freak out about once a week and think I'm losing the baby. I feel like I'm going crazy. Some days I stress that maybe my belly isn't growing enough. Some days I freak out because I barely felt the baby move. I still look up what could go wrong at this point in my pregnancy. How do I start to feel more confident with this pregnancy? Does anyone else still get scared?

Having suffered three losses myself and going on to have a successful pregnancy/healthy baby after each loss, I can tell you that your anxiety and fears are to be expected. You suffered a heartbreaking loss and you know the other side of things that so many women don't know. I remember how I used to check myself for spotting every time I went to the bathroom, fearing the worst and I made several trips to the OB/GYN when I didn't feel every movement, only to be told that everything was fine. I know it's hard to hear this but you don't feel 'right' until you hear that baby cry and you are holding him/her in your arms and then of course, the real worrying starts...(I have teenagers.

I'm going through the same anxiety and fear at the moment. We lost our son just a day shy of 32 weeks gestation. I'm now currently 25 weeks with our second son and whenever I don't feel him moving around I panic a little. My doctors have been very patient with me thankfully and are keeping a close eye on me. I also have a doppler at home to listen to baby's heart when I just can't keep my panic under control (it's been a huge stress reliever a couple of times). I'm high risk again this time around as it turns out the arteries that feed my uterus are small, I'm also diabetic with hypothyroidism. I wish you nothing but the best for your pregnancy
