Claudia~
I would love to see a pic of it sometime! I have a memorial tattoo too! It's the pic that's in my avatar ~ the chinese symbols are Quinn's name and of course the butterfly! (which, btw, is my third butterfly tat! LOL)
It's quite the experience getting a tattoo that hold such a significant meaning, isn't it? I am glad that you were able to honor your son in such a nice way.
HUGS, Cass

i have my daughter's actual size left foot (her right foot was clubbed) on the inside of my forearm with her name above it. My DH has both of her footprints with her name on top and her date under with the chinese symbol for pisces on his upper arm, near his shoulder isn't it the greatest idea? I get compliments ALL the time!

OOH PICS! I want PICS! I can not WAIT to find the perfect place and addition for my tat! I like the idea of dragonflies and butterflies- things that morph- but we have a theme for our family and it is bunnies and bears....You know... Mama bear, Poppa bear, LIttle bear, baby bear....so on and so forth... but our last noame is EASTER wood- so originally it started out with bunnies- but DH was a little well- manly about it. LOL He just didn't care for the bunny theme after DS#1 got older.... LMAO he's 7 now. Doesn't matter.. point is I want to see! PLEASE?

My DH got one last summer on his shoulder. It's 2 angel boys flying through clouds with our boys' names and angel dates written underneath. I am getting one of a celtic angel on my shoulder blade. I think I will get 3 little halos above her head as a tribute to our babies. I will try to post some pics when I get it done (if I can figure out how to do it!).

My DH wants to get Jesus sitting in the rocking chair holding a baby. Underneath it would say "Alaina Safe in the arms of Jesus" - 11/11/03
This was on a sympathy card we got.
God Bless,
Nancy

I plan on getting a tattoo of Joanthan's actual footprints most likely on my shoulder. I have to save up the money and also get up the nerve......I am such a whimp.

In the past I was the kind of person who probably would never get a tattoo, I was just to big of a chicken. However I have been thinking of getting Alex's footprint tattooed on me at some point. I hope I get the nerve to do it someday in the near future. I think it is a wonderful tribute to our little ones.

I am going to get one too, I'm still thinking about it though. I love the idea of her footprints, but I also found a pic of a little angel girl that is just so "her" (to me).
I also can't decide WHERE to put it.........

Dh shocked me yesterday and said he would like to get a tatoo to honour Lucas. I said hey I have been thinking the same thing. It funny because neither one of us would of considered a tatoo otherwise.

Ok I don't have a tatoo for my child but I love tatoos so I had to add to this one. I recently got separated from my husband on January 12th. It was the single most gutsy thing I have ever done in my entire life. And so to comemorate my new life I got the kanji symbol for crazy & insane tatooed on my right shoulder blade. I also have a four leaf clover on my booty. Anyway, now that I've gotten off of the TRUE subject of the post I will go.
