 This board is too quiet

Seems like I hardly get on SG anymore.

Life with a delayed child seems hectic and chaotic, but yet worthwhile in so, so many ways.

Sophia is being evaluated for her speech again. I'm hoping they'll be able to qualify her for more services. I'm finding the red tape is frustrating, and yet the end result is worthwhile.

She's still not interacting much with other children her age. Does a lot of pointing. Then when she gets frustrated, she'll start whispering. Which is extremely frustrating for us. Her speech is difficult to understand as it is, but then when she talks in a whisper, it really gets hard to understand.

I've been doing some therapy for myself and I've found out that kids who have witnessed abuse have a higher tendency to have speech problems. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it made me wonder.

Please update everyone. I miss you all.!!!!!
