I know I'm new here but...

I have had two miscarriages pretty recently. Lost both at around 8 weeks.

So I was a little nervous to be pregnant again. My girl friend took me to the doctors today to check on my pregnancy. I was told that everything is good, everything looks normal. I explained my cramping and my spotting and was assured that that was normal.
I was also told that I am 11 weeks now and could expect my miracle baby in May.

5 minutes after my friend dropped me off I started hemorrhaging. I called my mother, my boyfriend, and then my girl friend. My friend got here right before the vomitting started. My boyfriend got here and called 911 as I could not stand and was screaming and writhing in pain.

The four of us (friend, boyfriend, and mother) spent 4 hours in the emergency room where I continued to lose a lot of blood. My doctor told me I was miscarrying...but the nurse told me that since my cervix is closed that there is still a possibility that the baby is still there.

I have been put on bedrest. Ordered not to have any stress (and she took a moment to make eye contact with each of my visitors) and I am really scared.

Well. My little angel has gone their own way.

Thank you for your prayers, Dawn. ...and also to those of you that read this and kept my situation in their thoughts.

I don't know where the line is between acceptance and denial. I know that one day I will have my little miracle and I will hold that precious gift in my arms....and never let go. I will be the best mommy and have all the love in the world to give to my little one.

I can't cry. I can't grieve. I feel empty. I guess I just try to go about my life and know that the crash is somewhere waiting for me... and expect the worst, hope for the best, and look for the light.

I am so sorry for your losses. I had three m/c in a row also, 2002-2003. After the third we decided adoption was our best option (I was already in my late 30's) and now have 2 beautiful boys. My prayers for you and just know your child(ren) will find you one way or another.

I know this is long after your original post, but I feel the need to talk to you about this. I also lost three right in a row, all having their heartbeats stop between 6 and 10 weeks. I felt like I was stumbling in the dark, but I had to keep trying. I had some blood testing done. They were sure they wouldn't find anything, since i also have several live children. But lo and behold, I had developed a disorder that was cutting off circulation to the placenta in early pregnancy.

I received treatment, and my sweet miracle was born in June. You are in my prayers. You just keep muddling through, and your answers will come. Mine was different than karybeth's, but no matter the method of their arrival , we both received the "right" answers for us. Don't give up hope, sweetie. Your prayers are not alone as they make their wayo heaven.

Thank you all again, so much for your words of encouragement. It's hard to want to talk about yourself in a place like this, knowing that everyone hurts. But I do appreciate what you ladies have shared with me. Thank you so much.
